SLPs at BATSU: Sushi, Sake & Shenanigans

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind SLP night out as we take over BATSU! Chicago, the immersive Japanese game-show-style experience where comedians battle through outrageous challenges—complete with electric shocks, paintballs, a giant egg-smashing chicken, and other jaw-dropping punishments. BATSU! brings Japan’s “batsu game” (罰ゲーム) tradition to Chicago, blending high-energy competition with unforgettable comedy inside Kamehachi’s intimate lounge theater—home to Chicago’s original sushi bar since 1967.
BATSU! is highly interactive, and audience members may be invited to step into the action for surprise challenges and prizes—participation is optional but always unforgettable.
Our group will enjoy VIP seating, placing us right in the action with the best seats in the house. Each VIP guest receives a souvenir hachimaki headband, and wearing it may earn you surprise visits from the Sake Ninja throughout the show. You’ll also be greeted with a warm oshibori (Japanese hand towel) for a true cultural welcome.
