EO Chicago's Mentorship Program is Back!
Chicago Chapter | EO – YPO Gold Mentorship Program | Open Registration:
EO Chicago has opened registration for new Mentorship pairings. This period ends November 22. After registration, the Mentorship Committee will lead interested EO Mentees through the onboarding and pairing process, to begin Mentor relationships in Q1 2025. See what past EO Chicago Mentees and Mentors have to say!
What:
- The Mentorship program is an active, committed, Mentee-driven relationship between EO Members and a YPO Gold member.
- The Mentorship Committee will lead interested Members through an onboarding and pairing process. This process includes pairing Mentees with Mentors of similar industries and specialties, as directed by Mentees. Each interested Mentee will complete a personality indexing form to align with Mentors on an archetypal, as well as business tactical, level
- EO Mentorship fosters relationships aimed at high-level leadership and personal development within a structured timeframe. Throughout the mentorship process, Mentees work toward goals and establish personal accountability, while Mentors support them through next-level education and engagement.
- This is a forum-level commitment, driven by the Mentee. Prior to engagement, all Mentees and Mentors must sign a Contract and Rules of the Relationship.

- Mentoring Rules of the Relationship

FAQs:
- Who are the Mentors?
- The Mentors are primarily members of YPO Gold Chicago, as well as other YPO Chapters in Illinois. YPO Gold are Members of YPO who have successful careers in their 50 and above years of life.
- What is the commitment?
- This is a Mentee-driven commitment. EO Members are driving the relationship and are responsible for proactive scheduling, creating agendas, follow-ups, and more, as listed in the Rules of the Relationship and Mentor-Mentee Contract.
- This is a forum-level commitment. Meaning your meeting time must be set aside and protected for this engagement.
- How often do we meet?
- It is a self-directed relationship. It is strongly suggested to meet monthly for one hour or more.
- Will I get to select a mentor based on areas of my interest?
- Yes, in the ‘EO Chicago | Mentee Interest & Pairing Form,’ Mentees select areas in which they desire mentorship. Mentors with those skills, and compatible personalities, are aligned with the Mentees accordingly.
- What if I am not able to participate in this registration cycle, but I am interested in the future?
- The Mentorship Committee is instituting an always-open landing page to collect interested EO Member information. The pairing process will occur semi-annually to onboard interested Mentees in the future.
